About Maps and Trapeze MapMaker

If a map requires significant editing, it can be more efficient to obtain and load an updated map rather than edit the existing map.

Use Trapeze MapMaker to load a new map. This utility loads a map from an external format (for example, TIGER/Line, ETAK MBS) and builds map data that is optimized for transit operations and Trapeze4 mapping functionality.

MapMaker can also re-synchronize dependent data that is not handled by MapEdit or that has been corrupted.

Dependent data for mapping software enhances performance in MapEdit.
