Data Process Flow

APC Gateway runs as a service in the background as it collects data from any number of systems simultaneously.

The following graphic illustrates the main steps that the APC Gateway performs on the data that it collects:

The main steps in the flow as shown in the graphic are:

  1. Loads data: As a web-based service, it collects the data in the background from a number of systems simultaneously.

  2. Validates service: It matches the count data to the schedule contained in Trapeze FX.

  3. Flags good and bad data: It performs a load balance routine through an algorithm that resolves negative loads caused by inconsistencies in the APC and fare data counts.

  4. Cleans data: Data that is invalid or fails the load balancing process is held in a database after which it may be edited, deleted, or ignored.
