About the Point Location Query
Point Location Query uses Structured Query Language (SQL), which is a standardized query language that allows you to generate information from the data that is stored in relational databases such as those used in PLAN, PASS, INFO-Web, and other Trapeze applications.
Combining SQL with PLAN Spatial Analysis and its flexible buffer definition capability provides a unique tool that can answer many geography-related questions regarding point location data.
Point Location Query lets you save queries so you can create queries once and reuse them or a portion of them as many times as you need.
To use the Point Location Query tool, you need to have a working knowledge of:
- SQL query language
- The structure of your data source and the corresponding field names
