This section outlines the expected resources required to support production and non-production environments. For best results, Trapeze recommends a virtualized environment consisting of the components described in this section.

To ensure effective utilization of the provided resources, it is important to monitor operational health and performance on a regular basis.

Environment Assumptions

These environment sizing recommendations consider the following general usage assumptions:
  • The Environment Owner is targeting a typical hardware utilization of 80%.
  • The Environment Owner is leveraging hardware virtualization wherever possible.
  • The Environment Owner has co-located all components within the same geographic area with an average response time of 1 ms.
Important:
These estimates presume a dedicated Trapeze OPS workload. If an environment or instance is responsible for other operational needs, you may require additional resourcing to ensure operational consistency and reliability.
