Purpose
This document outlines hardware recommendations, architectural considerations, and best practices for the sound operation of Trapeze Workforce Management solutions, including the primary product, OPS, and certain add-on modules.
Scope
The following environments are considered within the scope of this Hardware Recommendations document.
Third-Party Software Components
Trapeze OPS solutions work best when supported by the following third-party software components. Trapeze suggests utilizing the latest generally available version.
Environment Sizing
This section outlines the expected resources required to support production and non-production environments. For best results, Trapeze recommends a virtualized environment consisting of the components described in this section.
Database Services Infrastructure
This section outlines Trapeze's recommendations for the relational database instance required to service the production environment.
Database Compatibility Level
The database compatibility level controls how the SQL Server database engine processes queries. Running at the latest supported compatibility level ensures access to current performance and feature improvements.
