Creating User Groups
User groups allow system administrators to manage permissions for groups of users who have similar roles within the transit agency.
- Do one of the following:
- Click .
Depending on your system setup, Security may be found in a different location.
- Click the Security shortcut:

The Security screen appears. - Click .

Do one of the following:
- Click .
- Click the User Group button:
A dialog box appears. -
Type the new user group name and click OK.
The new user group name appears in the left-side pane of the Security screen.
- Optional: In the Attributes frame, type a Description of the group.
- Specify security rights for the group by assigning the group to other groups and by directly assigning permissions.
