COM Representative Screen Toolbar

The following table lists descriptions of the commands on the COM Representative screen toolbar.

Command Name Icon Description
Close Close button Closes the COM Representative screen.
Previous Previous button Shows the record immediately before the current record on display.
Note: You can only view the records that are entered and saved during the current session. When you close COM, the records are saved in the database.
Next Next button Shows the record immediately after the current record on display.
Add New Subject Add New Subject button
Adds another subject to a feedback record.
Note: The COM/Customers Feedback settings/Allow multiple subjects in a feedback context property must be selected in order for you to add more than one subject to a feedback record.
Previous Subject Previous Subject button Shows the details of the subject immediately before the current subject on display.
Next Subject Next Subject button Shows the details of the subject immediately after the current subject on display.
Close Subject Close Subject button If clicked, the Closed check box in the Subject pane appears selected and the Date Closed and Time Closed fields are filled in with the current date and time of the workstation.
Clone Feedback Clone Feedback button

Creates a copy of the selected feedback record, which retains the data defined to be replicated such as name and address. This is useful when the feedback involves several events that may have occurred on different dates and involve different employees and vehicles thus requiring separate entries. With this option, you do not have to repeatedly type the same pieces of data.

Cancel Cancel button Removes any entries or changes you may have made on the screen.
View Booking View Booking button Shows the client and booking information related to the feedback.
Send Email Send Email

Opens the Correspondence dialog box, which allows you to send email messages to other parties such as investigators involved in acting on the feedback.

Form Letter Form Letter button

Written from a template on a subject that recurs and is sent to different customers with little variation except for the names and addresses. An example is an acknowledgment letter.

Investigation Tool Investigation Tool button

Searches for additional pieces of data associated with a feedback record from the Fixed Route or Demand Response databases.

Run Report Run Report button Displays the COM report selected in the COM/Launch Report context properties.
Look Up Customer Look Up Customer Opens the Customer dialog box, which allows you to search for a customer record.
Check Spelling Check Spelling button Flags words that may not be spelled correctly in both the COM Investigator and COM Representative screens.
View Attachments View Attachments button

Opens the Subject Attachments dialog box, which allows you to preview, add, remove, and open attachments.
