COM Investigator Screen Toolbar
The following table shows the descriptions of the commands on the COM Investigator screen toolbar.
Note: The COM Investigator and COM Representative screen toolbars have some commands in
common.

Close |
Closes the COM Investigator screen. | |
| Add New Subject | Adds multiple subjects to a feedback record. | |
| Add action | Adds a different action assigned to a different department or investigator that runs concurrently and independently of the original action | |
| Clone Feedback | Creates a copy of the selected feedback record, which retains the data identified to be replicated such as name and address. This is useful when the feedback involves several events that may have occurred on different dates and involve different employees and vehicles thus requiring separate entries. It avoids having to repeatedly type the same pieces of data. | |
| Close Subject |
If clicked, the Closed check box in the Subject pane appears selected and the Date Closed and Time Closed fields are filled in with the current date and time of the workstation. |

| Re-open Subject | If clicked, the Closed and IsClosed check boxes are cleared and you are able to edit the Subject. | |
| Forward Action | Forwards the issue to other parties in the organization for further action. | |
| Stamp Investigator | Fills in the fields with your information such as name, email address, and phone number every time you perform an action in the COM Investigator screen. | |
| Cancel | Removes any entries or changes you may have made on the screen. | |
| View Booking | Shows the client and booking information related to the feedback. | |
| Send Email | Opens the Correspondence dialog box, which allows you to send email messages to other parties such as investigators involved in acting on the feedback. | |
| Form Letter | Written from a template on a subject that recurs and is sent to different customers with little variation except for the names and addresses. An example is an acknowledgment letter. | |
| Form Letter Spooling | Sets the printing of selected data at a later date and/or time. | |
| Investigation Tool |
Searches for additional pieces of data associated with a feedback record from the Fixed Route or Demand Response databases. |

| Run Report | Displays the COM report selected in the COM/Launch Report context properties. | |
| Look up Customer | Opens the Customer dialog box, which allows you to search for a customer record. | |
| Check Spelling | Identifies words that may not be spelled correctly in both the COM Investigator and COM Representative screens. | |
| Vehicle Service Request | Forwards feedback regarding vehicle repair and maintenance to the appropriate maintenance department. | |
| View Attachments | Opens the Subject Attachments dialog box, which allows you to preview, add, remove, and open attachments. | |
| OPS Incident | Opens the OPS Incident dialog box, which allows you to view incidents logged in OPS or create and link incidents to OPS. |
