Creating Private Workspaces

You can configure a workspace according to your specific requirements, for example, display only the menus and commands that you use, and then save it as your private workspace.

To load the changes when you start the Client shell again, you must have permission to the Core > Workspace Manager > Load Active key. If you are granted permission to the Core > Workspace Manager > Save Active permission key, your private workspace changes are also saved in the database and can be loaded if you log on from other computers.
  1. Customize your workspace using any of the options available.
  2. Click File > Workspaces > Save As.
    The Save Workspace dialog opens.

It is identical in appearance to the Load Workspace dialog except that Save Workspace appears in the title bar.

  3. In the Workspace Name field, type the name of the new workspace.
  4. Click OK.
The newly named workspace is active on your desktop.
