A new option, PreventUpdateWithEmpty has been added to ComAncillaryRegisteredUsersView in COM Screens. When a feedback record is submitted by a registered customer and the option is selected for a field, but that field is empty in the feedback record, COM no longer updates the field in the customer's profile. Previously, when a feedback record was submitted in COM-Web and the customer did not fill in the Phone number field, COM removed the existing phone number in their profile. The new option has been selected by default for the following fields: FirstName,
LastName, Gender, Address, AddrName, SiteName, StreetNo, OnStreet, AtStreet, Unit,
City, ZipCode, State, PhoneHome, PhoneBusiness, PhoneCell, and Email. The value in
these fields will not be updated in the customer's profile if they were empty in
the submitted feedback.
Note: The option can be changed based on the customer's
needs. The server must be restarted if the option is changed for any of the
fields. |
