Adding Zone Groups

Sometimes within a system, multiple zones function separately and are subject to a different faring structure.

Zone groups are used when a group of zones requires special distinction. For instance, a rail system or ferry service crossing several zones would be classified as zone groups.

  1. Open the Fare Details tab of the FX-Fares dialog box.
  2. In the Detail Type list, choose Zone Groups.
  3. In the Description field, type a description of the zone group (for example, SubwayA).
  4. Click Add.
  5. Click Close.
