Updating Distances

Use Update Distances if your transfer stops were created in a legacy (pre-431) version of INFO-Agent.

If selected, Update Distances allows the system to calculate distances between transfer stops.

  1. On the Tools tab, select an agency and sign-up period from the fields beside the screen toolbar.
    All lines for the selected agency and sign-up period are displayed in the Line Context pane.
  2. On the Actions pane, select the Update Distances check box.
  3. In the Line Context pane, select the lines that you want to update.

    To select all lines, click ALL.

    The Execute button is activated.
  4. Click Execute.
    Note: To skip the transfer distance check when considering transfers for an itinerary, select the Ignore Transfer Distance option on the Transfers tab in the Transfers Wizard dialog. All other checks and logic that could result in a transfer being excluded from the itinerary are still in place. (The feature is applied when the CTM Server is used; not used with CTM Engine.)
