Traveler Information/Info-IVR Properties

The following table describes the INFO-IVR context properties that control the dates, times, and routes related to IVR announcements.

Traveler Information > Common > RemarksAdmin > Password This is blank by default. The set value should be numerical since it is used for IVR. The Remarks Manager page is only available when a value has been set for this property.

TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > AnnounceDestinationFirst If selected, the destination of the trip is announced before the trip time.This is not selected by default.
TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > AnnounceFinalDeparture If selected, IVR finds the final trip of the day for a route or pattern and informs the caller after announcing the trip time. This is not selected by default.
TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > AnnounceRealTime If selected, IVR announces real time data if it is configured and activated. This is not selected by default.

TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > DateEntry > Confirm If selected, the caller is asked to confirm the dates typed before proceeding.
TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > DateEntry > PromptIndividually If selected, the caller is prompted for separate entries for the month (MM) and day (DD). If not selected, the complete date is typed (YYMMDD or by day of the week).
TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > DateEntry > DayOfWeekExcludesToday If selected, the date is entered by day of the week, for example, Monday, that matches today's Day of Week, which is interpreted as one week from today, in other words, next Monday. (The Day of Week is represented by numbers – 1 for Monday, 2 for Tuesday, and so on.) If not selected, this week's Monday is considered as the selected day.

TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > RouteEntry > MaxNumberOfAlphaCharacters Maximum number of alphabetical characters that the IVR system will accept when callers attempt to specify their desired routes by spelling the route name. The default is set to 3. The minimum value is 2 and the maximum value is 9.
TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > RouteEntry > NumericalSearchField Field in the MasterLine table to be used when searching for a line by a numerical entry. The default is LineAbbr.

TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > TimeEntry > Confirm If selected, the caller is asked to confirm the times that he or she times entered before the system continues. This is not selected by default.
TravelerInformation > FixedRoute > InfoIVR > TimeEntry > PromptIndividually If selected, the caller is prompted for separate entries for the hour (HH) and the minutes (MM). if not selected, the caller is prompted to enter the time all at once (HH:MM). This is the default.
