About INFO-Web G3
INFO-Web G3 is the next iteration of INFO-Web, which is an online itinerary planning and schedule information application. It works with scheduling data provided by applications such as Trapeze FX and TransitMaster.
It enables the public to plan trips and access transit schedules and next departure information based on their desired routes, stops, and vehicles using a standard web browser. They can also view a representation of the vehicles on a Google map as the vehicles travel the selected routes in near real-time, for example, see where the vehicle is approximately located on a route.
INFO-Web G3 contains the following modules: Trip Planning, Route Schedules, Next Departures, and Alerts.
Responsive Web Design
Responsive web design is defined as an "approach" to making web pages easy to read and use on all devices where they are displayed: desktop, tablets, or mobile phones. The pages are designed to automatically respond to the needs and preferences of the users as well as the screen size and resolution of their devices. For example, when INFO-Web G3 users switch to a device with a smaller screen, the layout changes to accommodate the minimized view, that is, the placement of the toolbar and the size of the text change.
Accessibility
The user interface has been optimized for accessibility for visually impaired mobile device users.
