About INFO-Web G3
INFO-Web G3 is the next iteration of INFO-Web, which is an online itinerary planning and schedule information application. It works with scheduling data provided by applications such as Trapeze FX and TransitMaster.

Configuring ODBC Connections for Oracle
Each database must communicate with the Trapeze software using an ODBC (Open DataBase Connectivity) connection. ODBC is a standard application programming interface for connecting to different databases using a common language. Trapeze6 supports Microsoft SQL and Oracle databases.

Installing INFO-Web G3
Make sure that you have completed the preparatory steps before installing INFO-Web G3 in your system.
All itinerary searches from the user are submitted to the CTM Server, which processes itinerary searches using data in the cache.
Setting up the CTM Server
A CTM Server must be set up on a machine that has network access (communicates with database server and Hiwire server).
Loading the Cache
Once the CTM Server is started, load the CTM Server cache with the current live data. Loading the cache means retrieving the schedule data of a sign-up period for all services, which all the user workstations, INFO-Web, and INFO-IVR use for trip planning and schedule information.
Editing the Services File
In order for Hiwire to communicate with the CTM Server, the services file (on the CTM Server machine) must be edited.
Setting Context Properties
Trapeze Services use the context properties to be able to access the centrally defined and maintained property values.
Context properties allows you to access the centrally defined and maintained property values. This section lists the various categories and sub-categories of INFO-Web properties and their descriptions. Note that some categories have several sub-categories while some properties are shown as categories on their own, for example, Filter Lines By StopId.

About Security
To specify whether users must log in using names and passwords, and to specify which functionality they can access, you can set up security using the Trapeze6 Client shell.
Setting Permissions for Anonymous Users
The system includes a built-in user named Anonymous. Anonymous users are your transit customers whom you allow to use INFO-Web G3 without having to log on first.
Setting Properties for Anonymous User
Set the security permissions and the appropriate properties that manage the access of Anonymous users. You can allow these users to access some parts of the application without logging on. Set the properties in the profile and in the Properties screen.
