Setting Permissions for Anonymous Users

The system includes a built-in user named Anonymous. Anonymous users are your transit customers whom you allow to use INFO-Web G3 without having to log on first.

Check that you have the Anonymous user in your user list.
  1. Click Tools > Security
  2. In the Security screen, click the Anonymous user, and then click Permissions in the Permissions pane.
  3. Grant permission to Anonymous users for the following permission keys as required:
    • Info > RealTimeManager > Public Methods
    • INFO > InfoWeb > Public Methods
    • Info > TI > Public Methods
    • INFO > Lookup > InfoRemarks > Search
    • Common > CommonInfoServer > Public Methods
    For transit sites that have defined Audiences, you can also choose to grant permission to Anonymous users using the appropriate Audiences permission keys.
    If you are using Locations services, you can also set the following Locations properties:
    • Locations > GetLocationTypes
    • Locations > LocationsByName
    • Locations > LocationsByType
  4. Click the Save button. Save button
