Setting Properties for Anonymous User

Set the security permissions and the appropriate properties that manage the access of Anonymous users. You can allow these users to access some parts of the application without logging on. Set the properties in the profile and in the Properties screen.

Check the name of the profile where the Cmn Hiwire service group is loaded.
  1. In your INFO-Web G3 file directory, click the Config folder, and then open the profile file you want to modify.
  2. Set the following statement to true: <server id="Primary" defaultService="Hiwire" anonymousAccess="true">
  3. Click the Save button and close the file.
  4. Click Bin > vc12 > Win32 or x64 > Release, and then double-click ProfileEditor.exe.
    The Open Profile dialog appears.
  5. Select the profile file for the Serviceshell where the Cmn Hiwire service group is loaded.
    The Profile dialog appears showing the datasource and server information of the selected profile.
  6. Select the Allow Anonymous Access checkbox, and then click OK.
  7. In the Properties screen, clear the Core > Security > Always Show Login Screen checkbox.
    The Login screen does not appear when transit users open INFO-Web G3. If the property is selected, the login screen always appears when a user opens the application. The user can log on as “Anonymous” or with the designated anonymous user name.
  8. Click the Save button: Save button
