About DriverMate - VoIP

Voice over IP (VoIP) is an add-on component of DriverMate. The DriverMate VoIP library is based around a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) phone that is built into the DriverMate application.

Important: Speak to your Trapeze Representative for additional licenses and setup of VoIP with DriverMate.

To be able to communicate, DriverMate must be configured to talk with a VoIP provider that provides services via SIP. This provider can be a third-party VoIP service or the existing VoIP servers of your transit agency.
