Defining Deadhead Threshold Time Costing Variable

The Deadhead Threshold Time costing variable (CWDHTHT) represents the maximum amount of deadhead time in minutes that a site is willing to tolerate between two events.

About this task

Note: In Formula 4, the threshold represents the minimum amount of slack desired between two events.

In this section, this costing variable will be referred to as simply “threshold.” This parameter is defined in the Schedule Parameter and Violation Sets screen on the Costing Variables tab.

Procedure

Click Main Menu > Scheduling > Schedule Parameter and Violation Sets.
Casting Variables tab in the Schedule Parameter and Violation Sets screen

In the examples described in Deadhead Calculation formulas, the threshold value will be 15.
