MDT Center Commands

Many MDT Center commands provide you with quick access to relevant trip information in Schedule Editor or other screens.

For example, if a No Show request occurs, click the NS notification line to highlight it. Then, click on one of the buttons described in the following table to view the trip information you want to see.

Command Button Description
Run Itinerary Opens the Schedule Editor to the Run Itinerary associated with the event.
MDT Information Enables you to view specific MDT data. See Viewing MDT Information Details.
Client Itinerary Opens the Schedule Editor to the Client Itinerary associated with the event.
Client Info Opens the Schedule Editor to the Client Itinerary in association with the event.
Reschedule Invokes the Schedule Booking Wizard to assist in rescheduling the trip.
Cancel at Door Invokes the Set Time dialog box and marks the trip as CD (Cancel at Door). Once cancelled, the MDT Server automatically removes the pick-up and drop-off events of the trip from the itinerary.
No Show Invokes the Set Time dialog box and marks the trip as NS (No Show). When the trip is marked as NS, the MDT Server automatically removes the pick-up and drop-off events of the trip from the itinerary.
Voice Channel Launches the Switch to Voice dialog box. If your MDT system has a voice channel, this enables the Dispatch center to communicate with the driver. (It is enabled if you have security rights to view Provider data and to send messages.)
Send Message Invokes the Send Message dialog box and automatically enters the Vehicle Number of the notification event that is highlighted.
Toggle Done Clears the notification off the MDT Center screen. See also Monitoring Messages in MDT Center,
Toggle Undone Allows you to reset a message, which was inadvertently marked as Done.
Vehicle Status (Log On/Off) Logs the mobile computer on or off. For more information, see Logging On and Off Drivers (Using MDT Center).
Select Run Group Invokes the Run Group screen so you can create and filter notifications by Run Group. See also Viewing Itinerary and AVL Data for Run Groups.
Select MDT ID Enables the selection of MDT IDs to filter notifications in MDT Center. See also Viewing Messages from Specific Vehicles.
Accept/Request RTT Allows you to accept or request a request to talk with the driver.
