Setting Up Bump Runs
Bump runs are temporary runs used to hold trips until they can be scheduled to a suitable run.
Before you begin
Procedure
- Create a new run or select an existing run.

On the Detail tab, do the following:
- Type a Run Name for the bump run.
- In the Type list, click Clipboard.
- Type the From Time (start time) from which the bump run can be used.
- Type the To Time (end time) after which the bump run can no longer be used.
- In the Bump Rule list, click Allow Bumping To and From this run.

On the Supplementary tab, do the following
- Select the Is Bump Run check box.
- Type the number of Max Trips that the bump run can hold.
- Type the Max Provider Cost that the bump run can accommodate.
- Type the number of Overdraft Trips that the bump run can hold in addition to the Max Trips.
- Type the Overdraft Provider Cost that the bump run will allow on top of the Max Provider Cost.
- Optional: On the Detail tab, select a Bump Rule from the drop-down list.
