Map Context Properties

The following table lists the main context properties that you can configure to manage the use of the map.

MAP > MapDraw > Layer Config Layer configuration file.
MAP > MapDraw > Zoom Levels Zoom levels in meters per server display logical inch.
MAP > MapDraw > Fit To Coverage Area If selected, the highest zoom level value is calculated depending on the image size and coverage area. If not selected, the maximum value from the MAP / MapDraw / Zoom Levels property is used.
MAP > MapDraw > Zoom On Object Limit

Limit of the zoom level in meters per server display logical inch for Zoom On Object operations.

MAP > MapDraw > Image Compression

 Select an image compression format:
  • 0 - PNG
  • 1 - JPEG
  • 2 - GIF
MAP > MapDraw > Copyright Notice Copyright notice to be displayed on the map.
MAP > MapDraw > Restore Last View Area If selected, every instance of the map remembers the area that you last viewed. The area is restored the next time you open a map that has default zoom logic.
MAP > MapDraw > ShowLatLong If selected, the latitude and longitude coordinates are shown as you move the pointer across the map.
MAP > MapDraw > Service Name of the map rendering service.
MAP > MapDraw > Street Network Datasets Comma-separated list of map dataset names for street network.

MAP > MapDraw > Capitalize Text During Geocode

 If selected, the street, city, and state text is converted to sentence case. Only the first letter is in uppercase, except proper nouns and acronyms.
Map > MapDraw > Exclude Layers in 3rd Party Map List of map layers to exclude from map rendering. Examples: parks, military, beach.
