BlockBuster and Run Block Optimizer Parameters

Run Block Optimizer is a BlockBuster module with a powerful algorithm that helps process run solutions in BlockBuster.

With the Run Block Optimizer algorithm, the runcutting process has two stages:
  1. Initial cut: The Run Block Optimizer algorithm performs the initial cut that produces the legal runs.
  2. Improve: The Blockbuster algorithm improves the runcut when a set of legal runs has been produced.
Note: The use of the Run Block Optimizer algorithm is not mandatory; you can produce initial cuts using Blockbuster.
