About FX Tools

FX Tools is a group of tools in FX that helps automate the scheduling processes.

If there is a feature available in one of the FX task screens that functions similarly, it may only apply to the data in the current context. An example is the Update Costing feature which you must run in the Runcutting screen before proceeding to Rostering. Only the costing data for the runs or rosters of the lines in your current context are updated. However, the Update Costing tool from FX Tools updates the costing data for either runs or rosters for all lines within a sign-up period.
