Trips and Blocks Graph Tool

The Trips/Blocks Graph tool provides you the graphical representation that you see when you select Profile in the Trip Building and Blocking screen menus.

In the Trips/Blocks Graphical Wizard screen, the lists (from left to right) below the menu bar show Services, Line Groups, and Directions.

The following table explains the buttons that appear on the screen.

You can set how the graphs appear on the screen through the FX Properties function (Graphical Wizard) or set them using the Properties feature from the Trips/Blocks Graph menu bar.

Button Name Description
Refresh button Refresh Updates the graphs with data based on the settings you selected.
Get Context button Get Context

Updates the graph with the data of the line and service in your current context (Set Mode).

Exit button Exit Closes the screen.
Properties button Properties Opens the Properties dialog box for Graphical Wizard.
Mode 2 button Mode 2

Changes how the graph is presented. For trip graphs in the default mode, trips are shown by trip by time range. In Mode 2, the trips are shown by node by time range.

For block graphs in the default mode, the blocks are shown by block by time of day. Mode 2 displays the unblocked trips by time of day.

Trips graph button Trips graph Displays the trips graph.
Blocks graph button Blocks graph displays the blocks graph.
Profile button Profile Displays a histogram (if blocks have been created).
Left scroll button Left scroll Moves the graph to the left.
Down scroll button Down scroll Moves the graph down.
Up scroll button Up scroll Moves the graph up.
Right scroll button Right scroll Moves the graph to the right.
Zoom Out button Zoom Out Displays a more global view of the trip/block graph.
Zoom In button Zoom In Displays a more detailed view of the trip/block graph.
Undo Zoom button Undo Zoom Returns format of graph to initial setting.
First line button First Line Moves row marker to first record on the grid.
Previous button Previous Moves row marker to the record immediately above the current record in the grid.
Next button Next Moves row marker to the next record in the grid.
Last button The Last Line Moves row marker to the last record in the grid.
Note: The scroll buttons are activated when the graph is not completely shown on the screen.
