Checking for Duplicate Tables

Duplicate tables are created when you may have entered the incorrect user/role/group when connecting to the data source. If this occurs, request your database administrator to check the databases.

Perform the following steps if you did not select the Check Duplicate Tables check box in the Compare Differences With Dbd dialog box when comparing databases. Selecting the check box is another method of checking for duplicate tables.
  1. Click Datasource > Check Duplicate Tables.
The Duplicate Tables dialog box appears. If there are duplicate tables, they are listed in the dialog box. If there are no duplicate tables, the dialog box is empty and a message advises you of the results.
  2. Click OK.
