In the Select Comment dialog box, comments can be created and added to multiple trip
schedules.
Open the Comment dialog box on the
Pattern tab in the Route Definition
screen.

Click Add.
The Select Comment dialog box appears. You can resize the
dialog box if necessary.

To use previously defined comments, perform the following steps:

In the Type drop-down list, select
Line to apply the comment to the line in the current
context.

To apply the comment to all the lines, select Global. In the
Line field, the line of the selected pattern appears by
default.

In the User Type list, select the appropriate user type.
This field can be used as another way to filter the data.

Select a comment abbreviation from the Comments list.

To add a new comment, perform the following steps:

Click New.
The Abbr and Symbol fields are
activated and the text box is cleared.

In the Type drop-down list, select
Line to apply the comment to the line in the current
context.

To apply the comment to all the lines, select Global. In the
Line field, the line of the selected pattern appears by
default.

In the Abbr field, type an abbreviation for the comment.

In the User Type list, select the appropriate user type if
you defined any in the ancillary data.

In the text box, you can add comments up to a maximum of 4000 characters.

To attach the trip schedule to a report, type a symbol in the
Symbol field. The symbol is shorter than an abbreviation (maximum
of four characters). The full text associated with the comment symbol is added at the end
of the report.

Click Save.
The new comment is added to the list of comments that can be applied to other trips as well. The first abbreviation on the list is highlighted by default.
