Printing in FX

The Print function enables you to print information from various screens in FX.

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Open the screen you want to print, for example, Trip Building screen, and click the Print button: Print Button.
    • Go to Trip Building > Print.
    The Select Grid Columns dialog box appears with the direction of the nodes or pattern on the title bar. All items on the list are selected by default. The following graphic shows an example of selected options in the Trip Building screen, Select Grid Columns:Northbound. The options shown in the dialog box depends on the grid columns in the screen.

    Note: The Select Grid Columns dialog box opens for all printable screens and displays screen specific data.
  2. Optional: To exclude some of the columns in the printout, clear the appropriate items.
  3. Click OK.
    The printout is shown in a text editor format.
  4. Save the print preview as a text file or print it directly on a printer of your choice.
  5. To view the selected data on a spreadsheet, select the Use Excel check box and then, click OK.
    Microsoft Excel® is launched and the data appears on a spreadsheet. Edit the printout before saving or printing it.
