Editing Sign-up Periods

You can choose to change the time period, status. mode, and comments of a selected sign-up period.

  1. In the Sign-up Periods dialog box, select the period desired.
  2. Click Edit. The Edit dialog box appears.
  3. Change the sign-up name or date ranges.
    Note: If you edit your date ranges, note that the changes could affect your Exception Calendar (if you use exceptions).
  4. Change the status of the sign-up period if necessary:
    • Production - If selected, the sign-up period is used for scheduling in FX and in other Trapeze applications, for example, trip planning in Trapeze INFO-Agent.
    • Development - (For special use) If selected, users can automate queries to the database with results taken from sign-up periods that have been marked as Production or those that are still being developed.
  5. Optional: Perform any of the following steps as applicable:
    • To exclude a sign-up period from the Sign-up periods list in Trapeze4 (for example, FX, Trapeze PASS) and Trapeze5 (BlockBuster) applications, select the Hidden check box.
    • To prevent changes being made to the data of the sign-up period, select the Frozen check box. The main screens: Route Definition, Trip Building, Blocking, Runcutting, and Rostering are in read-only mode if this option is selected.
    • To add comments about the sign-up period, type them in the Comments field. The comments are shown in the Comments column on the Sign-up tab.
  6. Click OK.
  7. In the Sign-up Periods dialog box, click Close.
