Moving Shape Points in Segments

When a segment has three or more shape points, the segment's shape can be changed by moving shape points.

Make sure that you have write access to the map data.
Note: Segment end points cannot be moved.
  1. On the MapEdit screen, make sure the Select Point button is pressed by performing one of the following steps:
    • Click Map > Points Mode.
    • On the toolbar, click the Select Point button: Select Point button
  2. Select the segment with the shape point to move.
  3. Click the shape point to be moved. The point appears in cyan.
  4. Press and hold SHIFT while clicking the new shape point location. Keep clicking until the desired shape of the location is achieved.
  5. Click Edit > Save, or click the Save button: Save button

    MapEdit draws the new segment shape with the points that have been moved.
