About Extracting Trips

Extracting trips for both ride and point checks creates a template in the Trapeze4 database. After the data is collected, it is entered into the template.

When you extract a trip or group of trips in Ridership Analysis, you specify which trips are to be checked in the future and how to collect the check data. The type of extraction that you apply depends on the type of check to be performed.

This section provides procedures for generating a list of potential trips, extracting trips, executing ride and point check extractions, and preparing for checks after the extractions.
