Setting TSDE Permission Keys

You can set permission keys to grant or limit access features of the TDSE to users.

  1. To view the security keys, in the Client Shell, click the Security button:Security Button
    The Security screen is displayed.
  2. Click User Groups and click the appropriate group.
    The security keys for the selected group is shown on the left frame of the Permissions pane while the permission details are shown on the right frame.
  3. To set the security keys for TSDE, click Permissions on the right pane.
  4. From the Permissions list, click Exchange.The three TSDE permission keys are:
    • TSDE Import - Ability to import basic scheduling data, for example, trips and blocks data.

    • TSDE Import Run and Roster - Ability to import runs and rosters after the basic scheduling data has been imported.

    • TSDE Export - Ability to export scheduling data.
