Running Crystal Reports

Crystal reports are typically run from the Reports menu in the Client Shell. They can be generated in CSV, Excel, PDF, RTF, and Word outputs.

  1. In the Client Shell, do one of the following:
    • Locate and select the report in the Reports menu.
    • Select File > Open, navigate to the reports folder and open the report.

      Your administrator can provide you with the correct path information if needed.

  2. If the Enter Parameters dialog doesn't automatically appear, select Report > Run or Start or press F8.
    Parameters will differ for each report.

  3. Specify your parameters and select OK.
    The report is generated in the selected format. PDF reports will automatically open. Reports exported in CSV, Excel, RTF, or Word format will provide a prompt to open or save the file.
