About Sign-In Terminal
Sign-In Terminal lets agencies set up computer kiosks where employees can sign in to and off from work.
Sign-In Terminal can be set up to let employees sign in and sign off using one of
the following:
- driver's licenses
- customized swipe cards
- proximity cards
When employees sign in, the terminal shows information about the following:
- work assignment
- vehicle information
- dispatcher messages
- detour information
The system can also print this information on paper receipts.
If employees sign in late, the system can generate employee absence records and open the affected work.
Dispatchers can do the following:
- view sign-in terminal activity in OPS
- specify which pieces of work require sign in or sign off
- create messages for employees
