About LDAP

LDAP stands for Lightweight Directory Access Protocol. It is an "open, vendor-neutral, industry standard application protocol" used to access objects (such as users) in a large directory.

Microsoft's implementation of LDAP is the Active Directory. With LDAP integration enabled, the LDAP server performs the user login authentication although Trapeze administrators retain full control of user access to specific Trapeze applications and their functions.
