Virtualization Platforms Supported

Trapeze v19 supports licensed versions of VMware vSphere 6.5 service and vCenter Server or Microsoft Hyper-V Server Platform.

Note: Virtualization platforms change at a regular basis so please check with your Trapeze representative for platform specifics. Also some Trapeze products may require additional testing with specific versions or virtualization platforms so please confirm testing requirements with your Trapeze representative during planning.

Trapeze understands that every virtual environment has unique characteristics. Consequently, it is important to consult with your Trapeze representative and Trapeze Network Engineering staff for the recommended virtual machine hardware specifications for your specific Trapeze product in order to avoid Disk, CPU and Memory Oversubscription. Trapeze technical staff will work with your VMware administrator to help with your Trapeze product minimum hardware requirements for deployment in your VMware environment. Server performance should be evaluated on a regular basis to determine over or under utilization of provisioned resources.

General Virtual Base Server Requirements (Minimum specification)

These specifications may vary based on a number of variables such as: application and provisioned resources list, size of fleet, polling rate, number of calls, number of trip schedules, organization size, etc.

Application Servers:
  • Two (2) virtual processors
  • 8 GB memory
  • 100GB primary disk partition
  • One (1) 1000Mbps Ethernet adapter
