About the Workspace Set as the Default

The purpose of the workspace set as the default is that it ensures that everyone is viewing the same workspace layout and that it remains unchanged.

Note: This guide assumes a workspace is set consistently as the default. It is a good idea to customize your workspace only after you have learned the software.
The system administrator sets the workspace for your site and your particular user group. Only the system administrator can change, or customize this workspace. However, if you are part of more than one user group, you can choose which workspace opens automatically when you log into COM; it is the last workspace you used before logging out.
Note: If changes have been made to the workspace set as the default, you must reload the workspace in order for the updates to be applied. When you do so, you will lose any customization such as color changes that you previously made.
