Installing PASS-IVR

The PASS-IVR system is composed of several third party hardware components and Trapeze PASS-IVR.

  • Server hardware and operating system
  • Telephony hardware with VoIP, T1, and analog lines
  • Trapeze IVR application - Trapeze6 build and custom IVR call flow (markup) for your site

To install your server and telephony hardware and the required software components, refer to the appropriate vendor documentation or contact your Trapeze Customer Care representative.

  1. Access the file to be installed, for example, TP6-20.x.x.zip – where x is the version to be installed.
  2. In the appropriate drive, create a new folder to hold the IVR file, for example, C:\Trapeze\Trapeze6\IVR.
  3. Extract the zip file into the new folder.
  4. Perform the ODBC connection and DbEdit compare procedures as required.
  5. Configure the profile file.
  6. Define the applicable context properties.
