Installing the MySQL ODBC Driver

Install the MySQL ODBC driver to enable the Service Shell to access the Voice Gateway MySQL database and retrieve statistics.

1. Retrieve the installer from the Voice Gateway installation media.
2. Run the installer.
3. Set the values to be used as the default.
4. Open the Data Sources (ODBC) tool from the Administrative Tools in Windows.
5. Add a new system data source.
6. Select the appropriate MySQL ODBC driver.
7. Type a Data Source Name and fill in the connection details section using the specifics for your Voice Gateway server.
8. Click OK.
