Loading Cache of Selected Sign-up Periods

The Cache pane of the CtmSrv Configuration dialog box shows the available sign-up periods in the selected database. You can load the cache for specific sign-up periods from the server or the workstation.

  1. Select the check boxes beside the sign-up periods that are considered as Production. The sign-up periods that are not flagged as Production are shown with an asterisk (*).
  2. Select the Load Cache check box and click Load. Loading from the server is recommended only in production environments.

    If using the Itinerary Planning screen, click Itinerary Planning > Maintenance Tools > Load > Cache. Use this method, if the sign-up period you require is not loaded into cache when the CTM Server is launched.

  3. Click OK.

    If the cache has not been loaded, the search for itinerary solutions may be slow because the cache elements are loaded only when needed.
