Client Shell Screen Properties

The following table explains the context properties that you can set to manage the appearance of the Client Shell screen.

Property Description
Core > Client > Arrange Layout When Exiting From Design Mode If selected, the layout is rearranged according to the design logic when you exit Design mode. If not selected, the changes you made while in Design Mode are applied to the layout.
Core > Client > Auto refresh rate (s) Specify the time span, in seconds, between auto refreshes.
Core > Client > Auto search delay (ms) Specify the delay for fast find fields.
Core > Client > DBA Timeout Specify the length of the delay between an idle workstation and its disconnection from the database.
Core > Client > Enforce Capital Letters If selected, capital letters must be used in the data entry.
Core > Client > ExtensionModules A comma separated list of the installed Client Shell plug-ins. The list contains the modules in the profile currently in use.
Core > Client > Maximize screens If selected, the screen is automatically maximized when you open the Client Shell.
Core > Client > Prompt on delete If selected, when deleting data, a message asks you to confirm that you want to proceed with the delete action.
Core > Client > Prompt on exit If selected, a message asks you to confirm that you want to exit the application when you click the Exit option or button.
Core > Client > Prompt on save If selected, a message asks if you want to save your changes when you click the Close button.
Core > Client > TabsAuto-Size If selected, tab widths are automatically resized to fit the viewable screen.
Core > Client > TabsEnable Docking If selected, users can change tab positions by dragging them.
Core > Client > TabsEnable Swapping If selected, users change tab positions by dragging them.
Core > Client > TabsLocation Specify whether tabs should appear at the top or bottom of the screen.
Core > Client > ThemeAccent Color

Select the color of the Status bar and highlighted elements on the screen.

Core > Client > ThemeApplication Look Select the theme (visual style) to apply to the client application.
Core > Client > ThemeZebra Color Select the default zebra stripe color for grids.
