Properties for COM and TransitMaster Integration

The following context properties must be configured to enable COM to access TransitMaster data:

Web Service

Property Description
COM > TransitMaster > DataCube Web Service > Host Address IP address of the DataCube web service.
COM > TransitMaster > DataCube Web Service > Port Num IP port number of the DataCube web service.
COM > TransitMaster > DataCube Web Service > Web Service Location of the .asmx file for the DataCube web.

Lines

Property Description
COM > TransitMaster > Lines > Use Public Name

If selected, the list shows the names of lines as they appear on signage or public notices. If not selected, the names appear as they are referred to internally.
COM > TransitMaster > Always restore default division and department for operator or vehicle subtypes when employee or vehicle data is blank If selected, the division and department are restored to the default for the operator or vehicle subtype when the employee and vehicle data fields are empty.
COM > Schedule Data > Line Direction Factor Sets the number of Line Direction IDs that COM can search when using TransitMaster. The default is 10. (This property also applies to other systems used with COM.)

Schedule Adherence

Property Description
COM > TransitMaster > Schedule Adherence > Calculate Schedule Adherence If selected, the TransitMaster data does not include the schedule adherence, COM calculates it.
COM > TransitMaster > Schedule Adherence > HintTemplate Sets the Hint template for the Schedule Adherence Lookup. You can customize how the schedule adherence is shown.
COM > TransitMaster > Schedule Adherence > Adherence Threshold Sets the time in minutes that is used to ignore unreasonable adherence data. If the adherence data is greater than the value set, for example, the vehicle is reported as 480 minutes late.
COM > TransitMaster > Schedule Adherence > Unknown Adherence Value Sets the value to represent an unknown schedule adherence.

Schedule Data

To access the schedule data, set the following property to TransitMaster:

Select COM > Schedule Data > System.

Employee Data

To access the employee data, set the following property to TransitMaster:
