Maintaining Itineraries

The Maintain Itineraries feature allows you to copy, view, and delete itineraries.

  1. In the Itinerary Planning screen, click Itinerary Planning > Maintenance Tools > Maintain Itineraries.
The Maintain Itineraries dialog appears. By default, the itinerary type field on the upper right corner of the dialog shows Saved Itineraries. If you have saved itineraries, they are shown on the grid in the lower section of the dialog.
  2. To search for itineraries that you want to copy, select the SignUps check box.
The list of sign-up periods appears on the left pane of the grid.
  3. Select the sign-up period of the line to which the itinerary you want to delete is associated.
The name of the sign-up period appears on the title bar.
  4. Optional: To display itineraries of selected lines and directions of the saved itineraries in the selected sign-up period, filter the data through any of the following options:
    • From the From list, select the line you want and select a direction from the direction field. Alternatively, leave the direction field blank.
    • From the To list, select the line you want and select a direction from the direction field. Alternatively, leave the direction field blank.

If you do not select a direction, the system generates the itineraries for both directions. Select a line from either the From or To list, that is, only select one line, and then select a direction.

If you select only one line, the system generates all itineraries that start or end with the selected line in combination with all the lines with which it is associated. If you selected a direction, the system only generates the itineraries with that direction. If you do not select a direction, the system generates the itineraries for both directions.

  5. Select the Show All check box. The information is shown in the right pane of the grid.
  6. From the itineraries displayed in the right pane of the grid, select the itinerary that you want to delete.
  7. Click Delete.
  8. Click Close.
