PASS Booking Client System Properties

These properties typically affect Client Registration or Trip Booking.

System properties that affect clients and bookings are found in Tools > System Properties, on the Profile tab.

PASS Booking Client > Allow deletion of EligRules when used by bookings Specifies whether a client's eligibility rules on the Eligibility tab of the Clients screen can be deleted if they are currently in use by a booking.
PASS Booking Client > Allow same geocoded booking Specifies whether users can schedule bookings that originate and arrive at the same location. The system will check the longitude and latitude coordinates at both the pick-up and drop-off addresses. A warning message will prompt the user whether to continue saving of booking.
PASS Booking Client > Auto Unschedule SubType Specifies whether to automatically remove bookings with specific subtypes from the runs to which they are scheduled.

For example, to unschedule all denials, type DEN, the abbreviation for that subtype, exactly as it appears in the Booking Subtypes screen. Then, when editing a saved booking and assigning it to the Denial booking subtype in Trip Booking (or Schedule Booking Wizard), the system will unschedule the booking. A booking that is batch scheduled remains scheduled.

PASS Booking Client > Booking Locked Down > Booking Fields > Actual Arrive Time Booking Locked Down properties set a time after which to prevent users from changing bookings on the booking day.

If set to Yes, the Starting Time property applies to the Actual Arrive Time field.

PASS Booking Client > Booking Locked Down > Booking Fields > Actual Depart Time Booking Locked Down properties set a time after which to prevent users from changing bookings on the booking day.

If set to Yes, the Starting Time property applies to the Actual Depart Time field.

PASS Booking Client > Booking Locked Down > Booking Fields > Destination Address Booking Locked Down properties set a time after which to prevent users from changing bookings on the booking day.

If set to Yes, the Starting Time property applies to the Destination Address field.

PASS Booking Client > Booking Locked Down > Booking Fields > Negotiated Time Booking Locked Down properties set a time after which to prevent users from changing bookings on the booking day.

If set to Yes, the Starting Time property applies to the Negotiated Time field.

PASS Booking Client > Booking Locked Down > Booking Fields > Origin Address Booking Locked Down properties set a time after which to prevent users from changing bookings on the booking day.

If set to Yes, the Starting Time property applies to the Origin Address field.

PASS Booking Client > Booking Locked Down > Starting Time Booking Locked Down properties set a time after which to prevent users from changing bookings on the booking day.

Time of day that the booking fields are locked down. Bookings cannot be edited after this time. If the time is 0, the booking is not locked down.

PASS Booking Client > Bookings Require Requested Time If set to Yes, a requested (Req) time must be provided when setting up a trip in Trip Booking (found in Task > Trip Booking).

The Req time can be for either the Origin or the Destination.

A new Trapeze6 security permission was created to allow specified users to override this system property as needed: Trapeze4 > Trip Booking > Override Booking Required Requested Time.

PASS Booking Client > Calculate Valid ADA PU/DO Times Specifies whether to show alternative times based on ADA service availability when a booking is rejected because the pick-up and drop-off times are not within the ADA polygon time range.
PASS Booking Client > Cancel when SubType set to Eligibility Denial Specifies whether bookings should be automatically canceled if the Booking Subtype is set to Eligibility Denial. If N/A is selected on the Cancel when SubType set to list, bookings will not be canceled; otherwise, bookings will be automatically canceled with the cancellation code selected from the list.
PASS Booking Client > Certification on the Fly > Country Registration Address Specifies the default country to be selected in the client’s address when using Certification on the Fly in Trip Booking.
PASS Booking Client > Certification on the Fly > Default Address Type Specifies which address type to appear in the Find Clients dialog box by default. To use this property, type an address type abbreviation (for example, CH). When performing a certification on the fly, the address typed in the Find Clients dialog box when registering a new client will be assigned by default to the specified address type and marked as the pick-up address for all bookings.
PASS Booking Client > Certification on the Fly > Default Fare Type Specifies which fare type to appear on the Detail tab of the new client file by default.
PASS Booking Client > Certification on the Fly > Default Funding Source Specifies the first funding source to be used for bookings by default. To use this property, choose a funding source. The selected funding source is automatically shown in the Funding Source field of the Find Clients dialog box when a new client is first registered. You can accept the choice as the default or choose an alternative funding source from this field.
PASS Booking Client > Certification on the Fly > Default Funding Source Duration Specifies the number of days as the default that the funding source is in effect. For example, if you type 30 in this field, the Funding Source tab in the client’s file is populated with the present date (Eligible From) and the date 30 days from the present date (Eligible To). If you type 0, the Eligible From and Eligible To fields will be blank.
PASS Booking Client > Certification on the Fly > Default ParaService Specifies the paraservice (in the Client file and for bookings) of a Certification on the Fly client to be selected by default.
PASS Booking Client > Check Provider Capacity Specifies whether to check the provider quota to ensure that the provider has enough space to transport the client. If the quota has been exceeded, the saving and activation of the booking solution will be stopped.
PASS Booking Client > Client Picture Path Specifies the location where client pictures are stored. Click Select to browse folders on the computer, and then select the directory.
PASS Booking Client > Copy purpose from frequent address Specifies whether to copy the trip purpose from the last booking that used the selected address to the current booking.
PASS Booking Client > Current booking in ClientInfo Specifies the color to highlight the current booking in the Trip Confirmation tab of the Client/Booking Info dialog box.
PASS Booking Client > Def.Folder for Extra Query Determines the location where extra queries created in the Options tab of Trip Administration are stored.

By default, they are stored in C:\. In the field, type the path for the folder or click Select to select a directory and folder, if required.

Extra queries are saved in a *.xml file.

PASS Booking Client > Default Client Address Type > Alternative Address Default address type for the client alternative addresses. For example, CO.
PASS Booking Client > Default Client Address Type > Emergency Address Default address type for the client emergency addresses. For example, CE.
PASS Booking Client > Default Client Address Type > Home Address Default address type for the client home addresses. For example, CH.
PASS Booking Client > Default Client Address Type > Work Address Default address type for the client work addresses. For example, CW.
PASS Booking Client > Default Client Booking Info dialog Specifies what to show when a user types a client in Trip Booking with a date for which the client already has a trip.
Trip Confirmation - Call Summary
If a user opens the Client Booking Info dialog after booking trips for a client, the Call Summary view is shown.
Trip Confirmation - Next trips
If a user opens the Client Booking Info dialog after booking trips for a client, the Next Trips view is shown.
Alerts
Shows the Comments tab if the client has the Alert flag set.

PASS Booking Client > Default Client Passenger Type Specifies the client passenger type abbreviation (for example, CLI) to be used as the default in the Leg Detail frame in Trip Booking.
PASS Booking Client > Default Companion Passenger Type Specifies the standard abbreviation for the companion passenger type. Trapeze recommends that this value be left as-is.
PASS Booking Client > Default Date Interval Specifies the date interval to be used as the default for subscription trips that are booked without date interval rules. If no date interval is set as the default, subscriptions trips without a date interval rule are not activated. Therefore, this property must be set at some sites that have subscription trips with no date interval.
Note: Users must have created at least one record in the Date Intervals ancillary data dialog box (File > Ancillary Data > General > Date Intervals) for the property to be applied. Date intervals define the rules that apply to the date/date range for subscription trips.
PASS Booking Client > Default eligibility secroupname Specifies the security group name that is used as the default when a new user adds a new client or new eligibility. This property is used when a user group has not been selected for the user.
PASS Booking Client > Default Employee Address Type > Home Address Specifies the address type abbreviation for the employee home address (for example, EH). The system shows all phone numbers associated with this address type in the Home Phone column of the Select tab in the Employees screen.
PASS Booking Client > Default number of trips in Clientinfo Specifies the number of trips shown in the Trip Confirmation tab of the Client/Booking Info dialog box. By default, the value is 10.
PASS Booking Client > Default SchedTrip Booking Wizard Screen
Specifies the default view of Schedule Booking Wizard screen that is shown to the user:
Classic
Standard Schedule Booking Wizard screen.

Quick Booking screen, which holds fewer fields compared to the standard Trip Booking screen.

To toggle between the Classic and New screens, press CTRL + SHIFT and click the Schedule Booking Wizard button.

PASS Booking Client > Default Space Type Specifies the space type abbreviation used in the Leg Detail frame in Trip Booking. Type the space type abbreviation exactly as it appears in Space Types ancillary data (for example, AM).
PASS Booking Client > Default SubTypeAbbr > Capacity Denial Standard abbreviation (DEN) for the subtype for checking capacity denial trips in the Dispatch screen when loading unscheduled trips.
Note: Default SubTypeAbbr property settings should not be modified.
PASS Booking Client > Default SubTypeAbbr > Demand Standard abbreviation (DEM) for the subtype for bookings created as reversals and continuations of an existing trip.

PASS Booking Client > Default SubTypeAbbr > NonRegBooking Standard abbreviation (DEM) for the subtype for bookings created when the Trip Booking view is set to something other than classic.

To set the Trip Booking view, while in Trip Booking, go to File > Properties, and on the Booking Screen tab, click Default Trip Booking Screen.

PASS Booking Client > Enable client filtering Specifies whether records that are allowed to be viewed can be filtered: client records based on security groups and the eligibilities of clients from unauthorized caseworkers.

PASS Booking Client > Enable Load Time Matrix Specifies whether to enable the use of a custom table that sets the load time based on specified characteristics of an address.
PASS Booking Client > Enforce Client Eligibility Rules Specifies whether to enable checks that determine whether bookings comply with the travel parameters defined on the Eligibility tab in Client Registration.
PASS Booking Client > Enforce Single Client Passenger Type Per Booking Specifies whether trips should be allowed only one client passenger type per booking.
PASS Booking Client > Fare Calculator > Time Increment Time interval after which to increment the fare when calculating fares.
PASS Booking Client > Fare Calculator > Time Offset Time offset either before or after the current time to begin calculating fares.
PASS Booking Client > Fare Calculator > Time Window Time window in minutes for which the fare will be calculated.
PASS Booking Client > Frequent Address > Date Range How far into the past the system looks for frequent addresses.
PASS Booking Client > Frequent Address > No locations If set to Yes, common locations in the list of frequent addresses can be excluded.

If set to No, common locations are included with client addresses, bus stops, and other miscellaneous addresses.

PASS Booking Client > Frequent Address > Number Number of frequent addresses to show.
PASS Booking Client > Frequent Address > Unique street+no Specifies a unique frequent address solely by the street name and number to avoid duplicate listings that differ in other criteria, such as phone number.

By default, this property is set to No.

PASS Booking Client > Generate Cancel Confirmation Number Specifies whether to generate a cancellation number when a booking is canceled.

The number is shown in the Cancel Confirmation Number field in Trip Administration.

PASS Booking Client > Group FS completely overrides Client FS If set to Yes, ALL client funding sources are overridden with the one from the Group Booking.

If set to No, the Group Booking funding source becomes FS1; FS1 becomes FS2; FS2 moves down to F.3, and so on.

The default setting is Yes.

PASS Booking Client > IVR Notifications Specifies whether Trapeze or Ontira products generate IVR notifications.
PASS Booking Client > Location > Location Proximity Specifies how far away from a location to search for location matches when using the Address Matcher to search for common locations (to reduce the number of trips made to specific locations).
PASS Booking Client > Location > Location Time Window Specifies the number of minutes earlier or later than a requested trip time that the system searches for trips involving the same location if the Trip Booking > Check Location Time Window property is selected.

If the property value is zero (0), the system searches the whole day.

If set to No, the system will use TravelTime only to calculate the requested pick-up time. Turning Trace Level to 1 will show calculations of Req DO Logic in the trace log.

PASS Booking Client > SmartCardId Visible Digits Defines how many digits of the client's Smartcard Id are visible in Trip Booking.

When the property is set, the defined number of characters are visible starting from the last character of the Smartcard Id (that is, if 4 is defined, the last four characters are visible in the Smartcard Id field.

If 0 is set, then all characters are visible). If the defined value is greater than the number of characters in the Smartcard Id, then all characters are visible.

PASS Booking Client > Suppressed Booking Background Color Color that indicates suppressed trips.

A trip can be suppressed using the Trip Exclusion command in Trip Administration. A suppressed trip cannot be copied to create a new booking.

PASS Booking Client > Trip Itinerary Color Color that indicates linked trips. Linked trips are highlighted with this color in the Trip Administration and Schedule Editor screens.
PASS Booking Client > Unschedule on ReqTime Change Specifies whether the system should unschedule a trip if the requested time is changed and the new time exceeds the Unschedule Req Time Threshold property value.
Note: For this feature to work, the Change Req Time on Scheduled property must be set to Yes. To set the property, open Trip Booking and click File > Properties > Trip Booking.
PASS Booking Client > Unschedule ReqTime Threshold Specifies whether a scheduled trip is automatically unscheduled when a change is made to the requested time. The value is measured in minutes.
Note: The Unschedule on Req Time Change property must be set to Yes.
PASS Booking Client > Use Booking Validation Service If set to Yes, the system uses the Trapeze6 Booking Validation Service with Trip Booking rather than the logic in Trapeze4 Workstation.

When setting up eligibility testing, set this property to No.

If setting up eligibility testing and this property is set to Yes, then ensure that the properties in the Booking Validation Service in the Trapeze6 service shell are synchronized with the Trapeze4 Workstation properties. The synchronization feature will then activate whenever you change a property.

To synchronize the Booking Validation Service properties between Trapeze4 and Trapeze6, expand the Property Synchronization property group on the same Profile tab, and then set up the properties as follows:

PASS Booking Client > Use Client Filtering in FastFind control Specifies a search string to narrow searches. Used for improving system performance.
PASS Booking Client > Use Default Times Bookings for LP Specifies whether to order times for location programs by week day, from Monday to Friday.
PASS Booking Client > Use Subscription Pending Status If set to Yes, subscriptions can be set to a ‘pending’ status. Subscriptions with a pending status are typed as requests and thus cannot be activated.
PASS Booking Client > Weekly Count How to determine when a week starts:
Calendar Based
A week is defined from Monday to Sunday.

For example, if a client calls on a Friday to set up trips occurring every second week for the next two months, the eligible time period when trips can be scheduled is between the first Monday after the client makes the request and the following Sunday, skipping the following week and reappearing the next Monday to Sunday, and so on.

From the starting day
A week is defined as seven days from any chosen day.

For example, if a client calls to schedule trips that occur every second week for the next two months and start on a Wednesday, the eligible time period when trips can be scheduled is between the first Wednesday after the client makes the request and the following Tuesday, skipping the following week and reappearing the next Wednesday to Tuesday.
