Breaking Links Between Trips

You can remove a select number of trips from an itinerary and leave the remaining trips intact or break the link between all trips in the itinerary.

Before you begin

Trip Administration must be open.

Procedure

  1. Search for the Client and Display the trips to be removed from the itinerary.
  2. Highlight the trips to be unlinked:
    ToDo this
    Break the link between all trips Press CTRL and select all trips in the itinerary.

    To highlight itinerary trips in consecutive rows, press SHIFT and click the first and last row.
    Break the link between one or more trips from the group Press CTRL and select only the trips to be unlinked.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Click the Unlink Trips button:
      Broken chain link.
    • Right-click and click Unlink Trips.
    A "Do you want to break the itinerary link for the selected trips?" message appears.
  4. Click Yes.

Results

The trips are no longer linked, and the itinerary ID number of the group is no longer assigned to them.
