Configuring Context Properties in the Trip Broker GUI

This section describes how to configure the context properties to find and schedule brokered trips in Trip Broker.

About this task

Context properties can be defined in the web interface, or they can be defined using the Trapeze6 Client Shell in Tools > Properties.

Procedure

  1. Log on to Trip Broker.
  2. Click the Menu tab.
  3. Click Settings.
  4. Click Context Properties.
    The location of the Context Properties option may vary depending on your system setup.
  5. Expand the PASS > Trapeze4 > Schedule Server folder and specify the following context properties:

    Context PropertyDescription
    Host Address Type the Schedule Server's IP address or URL.

    For example, http://<host address>:1234.

    Host Port Type the port number used to connect to the Schedule Server's host port number defined in Tpnet.ini

    For example, http://192.344.373.1:<port>.

    The following image shows an example of updated PASS > Trapeze4 > Schedule Server context properties:

  6. Set any additional Trip Broker context properties.
  7. Click the Save button:
    Diskette.
  8. Close and restart the Schedule Server application and the Trapeze6 Trip Broker Service Shell.
