Configuring Schedule Server

The first time the Schedule Server application is opened, the user needs to log in and define the host and IP address of the machine that the database is located.

About this task

These credentials can be modified later if required by clicking File > Configure in the Schedule Server window after the application had loaded.

Procedure

  1. Start the Schedule Server application by double-clicking on its shortcut.
    The SchedSrv Configuration dialog box appears.
  2. Provide the following information:
    Server Name
    If this field is not automatically populated, type the name of the server, as defined in the TpNet.ini file.
    Config Datasource
    Type the name of the DSN, as defined in the TripBroker and TP4 *.profile files.
    Login Name
    Type the user name of an authorized PASS user.
    Password
    Type the password of the authorized PASS user.
  3. Click OK.
  4. Close and restart the application.
