Adding Menus and Menu Items

You can add menu and menu items and create a new menu using the Links - Workspace dialog box.

Open a BSM screen.
  1. On the bottom-right corner of the screen, click the Customize Menu button: Customize Menu button
    The Links - Workspace dialog box appears.
  2. In the CurrentLinks for drop-down list, click the user group for which you want to change the screen layout
  3. Perform one or more of the following steps to add a menu or menu item:
    • To add a menu and its standard menu items, for example, Stop Manager, select it in the Available Links pane, and drag it to the Current Links pane.
    • To add one or more menu items from a menu, select the items you want in the Available Links pane, and then, click the Addbutton: Add button

      When you choose to move menu items, a message appears asking you to confirm that you want to replace the current layout.

  4. To create a new group, enter the name in the New Group field, and then click Add beside the New Groupfield.
  5. To undo an action that you just performed, for example, moved menu items from the Available Links pane, click the Redo button:
