About Relief Events
Relief events are the times and locations in a block where an operator takes over from another driver.
Updating relief events should be done after any blocking changes have been made to the schedule data. This refreshes the relief times of the trips after your data has been prepared for runcutting.
The relief points in a block from which you can choose when runcutting are identified in the
Route Definition process. They are identified by the letter R (Relief)
in the Label column of the Nodes tab in the
Route Definition screen.
Note: Make sure to save your cuts since
updating reliefs also removes any previously cut runs from the Cut
Pieces grid. When you reload your run cuts after updating reliefs, any runs
that were not affected by any blocking changes remain cut while the blocks that were changed
are uncut.
