About Union Contracts

The Union Contract feature refers to the types of runs and contract rules that operators work with specific to your transit site.

Note: Since contract rules and run types are different among transit sites, only common rules and run types are explained in this User Guide.

When performing automatic runcutting, FX is constrained by your custom Union Contract setup and costing constants. All forms of runcutting, use information you provide in the Union Contract dialog box to find the most effective runs and to define runs as legal (abiding by the union agreement), or illegal (outside of the union agreement).
